The senior trade body for dealers in rare and fine books, manuscripts and allied materials in the British Isles and elsewhere. The ABA organises the most important annual book fair in Britain, held every June at Olympia, London.
ILAB federates 20 National Associations of Antiquarian Booksellers. It speaks for 20 national associations, 30 countries, and nearly 2000 leading booksellers throughout the world. Its emblem stands for integrity and professionalism in the rare book trade. The League publishes and upholds a code of ethics.
PBFA hosts frequent antiquarian and second-hand book fairs across Great Britain. Member exhibitors display a variety of rare and vintage books, prints, maps and ephemera, and they follow a Code of Practice that ensures accurate descriptions and fair prices of items.
